When I first tasted Wagyu/Angus cross Korean Kalbi short ribs about 5 years ago, my reaction was, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!” This week we are offering the 4-lb of Wagyu/Angus Cross beef with Asian Short Ribs; these are short ribs cut 1-cm thick Flanken style across the bone. Plus a bottle of Korean BBQ marinade! And 3 lbs of ground beef. And a 3 lb roast. TEN POUNDS total!
Kalbi ribs are a Korean delicacy and they are better with American Wagyu because: 1, the cut is fatty and the Wagyu fat is better than normal fat and better for you, 2, the Wagyu is more tender so that the meat is less chewy. You can also find a marinade recipe on our website under Recipe/Blog.
