How to cook steak for Super Bowl spread
DO: Thaw steak. Dry off the steak. Salt the steak. Wait hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
DOESN'T MATTER: if you sear, fry, grill, sou vid, smoke, bake, air-fry,
DON'T: start a grease fire on the grill.
DO: Have a meat thermometer and use it.
DON'T: Cook past 125 degrees F internal temperature.
DO: Place on a board with a combination of olive oil, butter, pepper, garlic, green onion and fresh or dried herb. Cover with aluminum foil and a cloth to "rest" or let the temperatures even out. Allow 10 minutes.
DO: Cut steak into strips on the board, let the seasoning oil cover the pieces.
DO: Serve on the Superbowl spread. Allow a cover for the steak to keep warm, but if they are all snatched up it doesn't really matter.
DO: include in your superbowl spread, guacamole, tortilla chips, sour cream, salsa, tortillas, celery, limes, salad, beans, cakes, cookies, ice cream, fruit.
